Penarth Town Council Landscape Maintenance Costing
Penarth

Commissioned by Penarth Town Council to prepare a landscape maintenance costing for four parks and open space sites in Penarth. No baseline measures were available. We visited all sites and prepared digital maps for each, with beds and features mapped, based on our observations from the site visit and other sources including existing Management Plans and other background information. Our report set out maintenance costings and calculated a total annual maintenance cost for all four sites, taking account of unknown and variable items and elements which are often not included in annual maintenance costs, such as repairs to hard surfaces and maintenance of buildings and structures. The report also identified elements with the potential for volunteer input, such as woodland management.
