Parks and Open Spaces
Red House Gardens

We have prepared landscape strategies and masterplans for a number of small to medium sized parks and open spaces. These include Red House Gardens, Leatherhead where we developed the initial Masterplan and detailed design for the enhancement of Leatherhead's key open space, the Red House Grounds. The project involved extensive consultation with community groups and local government officers on requirements and vision for the park. Proposals were prepared and implemented in the light of the consultation process. At Barham Park we worked in association with The Adams Loxton Partnership in developing a landscape strategy, masterplan and management plan for the park. The costed strategy and masterplan address a range of issues associated with circulation, use of the park for events, views and habitat enhancement.

Hatchery at Preston Farm
Preston Farm

Hatchery seeks to create rural office, workspace and workshops sensitively located in rural locations. Preston Farm is located in the Darent Valley in the Kent Downs AONB. We initially prepared an LVIA which informed the preparation of the scheme to create rural workspaces at Preston Farm involving close collaboration across the design team and stakeholders to create an architectural language and setting sympathetic to the AONB. The landscape setting included the creation of outdoor meeting spaces, habitat creation and opportunities for tenants to benefit from the landscape within and around the site, together with functional elements such as car parking, sustainable drainage systems and circulation
