Heritage Lottery Park Restoration Projects |

We have provided the lead consultancy and team support roles in the preparation of Stage 1 and Stage 2 bids to the Heritage Lottery Fund/National Lottery Heritage Fund for many parks and gardens. We provided the lead role on successful Stage 1 schemes for South Hill Park in Bracknell, Worth Park in Crawley and the Living (River) Wandle Landscape Partnership. All of these commissions have involved extensive consultation with stakeholder groups and the wider public in order to inform proposals and invite feedback. Our experience has included public presentations, workshops, on site events and exhibitions. We provided support to the creation of a Friends Group at Walpole Park. |

Landscape Strategies and
Business Plans for Community Projects |
We have prepared a number of Landscape Strategies and Business Plans for community led projects. Studies include the Heaths Countryside Corridor which developed a strategy for the purchase, design and management of surplus land associated with the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, prepared for a community led group near Charing. The group has successfully purchased and now manage a number of sites in accordance with the strategy. |

Consultation undertaken in the preparation and updating of a series of management plans for Reigate Heath (a sensitive lowland heath SSSI with a diverse range of recreational uses) were designed to reach as wide an audience as possible and to address controversial issues such as tree felling. Exhibitions, guided walks and a public meeting stimulated discussion, and extensive publicity significantly increased public participation. |
